What, Why, When & Where
- WHAT: GameLoop is an annual one-day game industry unconference — a self-organizing conference — that originated in Boston in 2008. Think BarCamp but focused specifically on the industry of games. Philadelphia will be the second city to host GameLoop.
- WHY: Over the past two years, a small group of local developers have travelled to Boston to attend the original GameLoop. We see the benefit in bringing it to the hungry and eager game development community here in the Greater Philadelphia area. GameLoop is being brought to Philadelphia with the permission of its Boston owners who are acting as advisors to ensure its success.
